Chris Onstad’s webcomic Achewood is one of my favorite works in all of comics, and I have a lot of thoughts about it. The good folks at Comics MNT were kind enough to give me free rein to dig into it in two pieces: first, one arguing that the strip was mostly a rumination on what manhood means, and second, one that flips this around and examines Achewood’s treatment of women.
